SAFARI was carefully selected to describe the style of tour we offer:
From August to October, Hervey Bay 'the Whale Watch Capital of the
World' is visited by many humpback whales during their annual migration
south. Visitors come from all over the world, to cruise onboard the
M.V.Mikat and view these amazing creatures in action.
NOT
a quick cruise, a glimpse of the whales and home again, but a genuine
whale tour, departing at 9.00am and returning around 2.30pm, allowing
ourselves enough time to ensure, that everyone is satisfied.
You’re on board a 20 metre ocean-going catamaran that will handle the
generally calm waters of Hervey Bay with ease. Join us, settle back and
relax as the M.V. MIKAT takes you from the Great Sandy Straits Marina
to Moon Point on Fraser Island, where you will enter the Hervey Bay
Marine Park to enjoy your day amongst the Humpback Whales.
DEPARTURE TIMES:
Boarding at 8.45am,
we depart from our berth at the Sandy Strait Marina at Urangan daily at
9.00am, returning approx. 2.30pm.
